The well known capitals of arts are Paris with it's Louvre and thousands of galleries, Milan or Rome, where art collections are bringing ones to knees, not to mention Greece. It is also Europe that the styles of art were born. The biggest art collections can be found in Washington and New York. Africa could be delightful destination for connoisseurs. It seems Dubai cannot compete with known word art capitals. A little town, grown just 70 years ago on pure sands. Before suggesting this thesis, let's ask a question, what is art and how it is brought to life. There are as much definitions of art as many people were asked to answer this question. But one is sure. Art in the global meaning is real creation of human being think. The creator is maestro that uses his mind and talent to exchange all gained by senses impressions and his imaginations to work of art, whatever it is. Going deeper into this analyze, we can say that talent and mind as well as impressions and imaginations are needed attributes for art to be created. There is no need to talk about mind, as it is significant to human being. Talent is something given to artist, no matter whether he was born, in South Africa, Middle East or North America. The above two attributes are out of our discussion. Imagination is an art itself; it is the artwork already created. Obviously the very rare kind of art, as it can be seen, heard, touch, tasted, felt only by the artist. Talent enables artesian to transfer ready work of art from his mind to substance with witch he can express him in the best way. Talent is also a bridge between impressions and imaginations. "Whatever I see, I see it with the eyes of my mind" Shakespeare has written in one of his poems. The imaginations created by mind can be seen by the "eyes of mind". Impressions gained by senses and transferred to mind during the time of day and sleep are like wooden sticks; coal, gas or oil put into the fire. They keep the flame on burning. If there were no burning materials, the fire would turn off. The more sticks you put into the fire the bigger it will be. The fire will change in its intensity, color, and smell if the fuel is changed. The impressions play the most important role in art creating. Plenty of examples can be seen in various artworks from paintings to music and literature. Whatever happens to the artist during his lifetime is mirrored in his arts. Bringing us to our primary question, why to look for the finest art in Dubai the answer seems to be very easy. Dubai is that particular place on the Earth, that one can find the quintessence of the whole word. Almost all nationalities are managing to live here, enjoy the life and what is the most surprising coexisting without any perturbances. Almost all religions are practiced, the variety of different cultures, styles of life, way of thinking one can find in UAE. The quantity of impressions, the variety of them is giving the artist one in its kind possibility to create things that nowhere in the word could be created. There is also one more thing. In the end of XX century and nowadays art has been commercialized. It was very easy to find out market niche and produce quantities of pseudo-art works just to fill up demanding of people. Dubai is different. Even if there are groups of people interested in any particular style in art, there are several other groups interested in another. That's why work-arts in Dubai are so original and different from produced in great quantity so called art in other destinations.
